Twenty-one ways to see Australia and New Zealand with Mr Chea, a Korean and English speaking Sydney local guide — from a half-day running tour to an 18-day drive across the continent and a top-to-bottom journey through New Zealand. Every itinerary was walked and driven first, then written down line by line.

People, nature & art — written down.
I was born in Ulsan, Korea, in 1977 and went to Sungkyunkwan University to become a teacher. Then, after military service, a trip to Boracay in the Philippines turned into a job as a dive master, and travel became the road I stayed on. I first landed in Australia in 2003, studied tourism here, and worked for the luxury duty-free retailer DFS and for LG Electronics Australia. Five years back in Korea were spent as a commercial diver and as the founder of a social venture. In 2019 I married and returned to Australia, and today I spend my days guiding travellers around Sydney. Twenty-odd years moving between diving, tourism and start-ups all show up in the way I lead people through this city's laneways and along its coastline. Everyone calls me Mr Chea.
